This portal is designed to collect essential data for calculating baseline emissions, establishing targets, and executing strategic reduction plans across our supply chain network. All submitted data is classified and securely managed.
In response to global climate action paradigms, it is increasingly crucial to formulate proactive greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategies. Through this assessment, we aim to measure carbon footprints accurately and engage our partners in sustainable, cooperative growth. The data gathered serves as the foundation for our collective pursuit of corporate environmental responsibility and strategic net-zero goals.
Standard emission scopes and definitions for accurate reporting
Activity Data: A quantitative measure of a level of activity that results in GHG emissions (e.g., liters of fuel consumed, MWh of electricity used).
Emission Factor (EF): A coefficient that quantifies the emissions or removals of a gas per unit activity data.
GWP & CO2eq: Global Warming Potential (GWP) is the heat absorbed by any greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, as a multiple of the heat that would be absorbed by the same mass of carbon dioxide (CO2). CO2eq is the universal unit of measurement derived from these values.
Base Year: A specific year against which emissions are tracked over time.
Target Year: The designated future year when predefined emission reduction goals are expected to be achieved.
Net-Zero: A state where the amount of GHGs emitted into the atmosphere is balanced by equivalent removals, leaving effectively zero emissions.
